Undergraduate studies at the University of Rennes 2, France (licence in European Studies – Langues Etrangères Appliquées, 1993), post-graduate studies at the University of Rennes 2 (maîtrise in European Studies – Langues Etrangères Appliquées, 1994 ; maîtrise in Teaching French as a Foreign Language, Français Langue étrangère, 1996) and the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in Paris, France (D.E.A. in Linguistics, research on the teaching of Turkish as a « native » language to Turkish migrants‘ children in France, 2002).
Research Interests
Her interests include sociolinguistics, in particular language policies, language and power, as well as alternative pedagogy and new technologies in teaching of foreign languages and cultures, and pedagogical material development.
